DHL Delay
I am a little behind on my reveal for April’s Yarnbox. I got it a little late in the month because of some unforeseen circumstances at DHL.
All is good though, and everything arrived intact and wonderful as usual. You can check out the video below to see more of the beautiful Fyberspates Vivacious DK (approx $26 USD per hank) and other goodies I received.
As for all the amassing yarn I’ve been receiving through my yarn subscription services — fear not.
I’m planning out their usage (which include many free pattern workshops) as I type. The kids are out of school very soon so that frees up a lot of my time (I home school, so it’s reverse, my days are less busy in the summer.)
I’m actually starting on a pattern today that will be free in hopefully about a week. So check back, or better yet, follow the blog and get immediate notice when it’s added.

Beautiful Yarn!! I wanted to ask you a question to….regarding your shop at Big Cartel….how did you get your shop to bounce over to Cartel from your blog tab? I am setting up shop there too, and want to know how you did it! Thanks, Sandy

You have to set up a custom menu under appearance and then put the cartel address as one of your links and just put whatever you want to call it “Patterns”, “shop”, etc… Let me know if that was the info you were looking for. 🙂

Thanks, I will try that, I see that when I click on the name of your tab…..it goes right there….and I wasn’t sure where to put the link! I just don’t want people to go to a big page and see a highlighted link to click..so confused!! Lol

You’re on wordpress right? Just go to your dashboard and click on “appearance”, then click on “menus”, then “create new menu” you can drag and drop pages you already have on your blog to make the main menu and then click on “links”, add your big cartel shop address and the name you want the tab to appear as and add to the menu you created. Then choose “header menu” for what you just created and it will show up on every page in the blog. 🙂
