My favorite fiber to work with? Hmmmm, I love fibers of all kinds, wools, fluffy alpaca – so nice, a soft silky bamboo, oh I could go on & on! I am truly a fiber addict! If I must pick a favorite, I would chose cotton – every finished project I have made from cotton has turned out just as I hoped. My family & friends think I am a crochet guru, when, in truth, I am nothing close to being an expert!

I am allergic to wool, so I use only acrylic, and other synthetics and of course cotton. My favorite yarns are REDHEART Soft and Vanna White’,s. But I have discovered recently Hobby Lobby’s “Love This Yarn”. It is so soft and inexpensive (also have an enormous range of colors and prints, even some with long runs of color). I wish there were more acrylic yarns that have long runs of color…..I have discovered something called Clapochet (like the knit pattern, clapotis) that makes great shawls if there are long runs of color to set off the pattern.
