I’m starting a new series of Free Pattern Workshops. This washcloth series is going to teach you some new ways to use basic crochet stitches to make cool textures and stitch patterns.
The first washcloth is made with a stitch usually called the “Crunch Stitch”. It’s a simple one row repeat, but creates a really cool look.
You can check out the pattern and video tutorial here.
Viewer Request Video
I also have a new viewer request video. It’s pretty specific, but those are usually the ones that are the most needed when you lease expect it. This video will show you how to decrease FPSC (front post single crochet) and BPSC (back post single crochet ) when working in the round.
I made some Owl Whooties (who booties) and Beanie Set. You can get them now as usual for 50% off the first week they are out.
This super cute whootie set is fun and fast to work up. Finish the whole set in an evening. Change the color and they are great for boys or girls.
The beanie and booties instructions come in two sizes: 0-6 months and 6-12 months.

The new motif is here. I’m calling it a Bicycle Wheel, because that is what it reminds me of. It’s a really easy and fast motif. You can make one in minutes. Put them together to make a cool shawl or scarf.
For the final Chroma Color Reveal, I whipped up a new baby gift set.
The color is Sugar Cookie and it is a very sweet mix of light to hot pinks and greens. Very cute for little ones. You can check out the yarn here and get the pattern below.
You can also get 50% off the new pattern set this week only.

This one took a while. I had a request for pillowcase edgings for a shell design and a flower design, so I got to work.
The free pattern workshop shows you not only how to make the edgings, but also how to work into the pillowcase using a special type of hook made by Edgit.
This super sharp hook, helps to pierce the fabric of your project so you can add your edging with ease (or easily after you learn the tricks that I show in the video.)
This was a total impulse buy. If you didn’t know already, I love owls (and obviously crocheting.)
Put them together and I just had to have it. This cute little ornament was too good to pass up.
I purchased it from ScratchCraft on Etsy and they have one left, though I’m sure they can make more if you have to have one too.
I just had to share the cute. I’ll take a picture once I put it on my tree at the end of the month.
Congrats to the winner of the Imperial Yarn giveaway. Kim won with her comment:
I use acrylic mostly but I love alpaca 🙂
