New Snowflake Motif and Another Giveaway
I’m starting a new tradition for my December motif of the month. I’ve decided to do a different snowflake each year. So here is the 2nd in the series. You can check out the pattern and video tutorial here.
Giveaway Time
I found these cute little desktop calendars a few weeks back. It has a yarn quote for each day of the year. I bought one for myself, and an extra for one of you. Leave a comment below letting us know your favorite month of the year to be entered.*

My favorite month is May, because it’s my birthday month (actually, our month, because I have a twin brother!). And because it’s the cusp between spring and summer, so the weather’s lovely here (California). When I got married, I added two more family birthdays in May — and now, with family weddings and births, we’re up to nine May birthdays. Big month for us! Not to mention Mothers’ Day. 🙂

My favorite month is May. Every year (for more years than I’ve been alive) my entire family gathers at our family home in Tennessee. I can’t wait to see everyone. In March, I start counting the days until our reunion. It’s the beginning of summer and my kids are home for the next few months. Love it!!

November is my favorite month as fall comes to a close and then holidays begin. November is also the month of many birthdays in our family – six in all! Used to be more, but some have passed on. Thanksgiving with food and family and the decorating for Christmas! Just the best!!
