Love lace crochet as it feels so advanced compared to the instant gratification chunky yarn projects — which I do love finishing so quickly! But I feel much more accomplished with intricate projects! Oh and that poncho! =droool=

I love doing lace patterns especially scarves and shawls. The patterns keep me interested and challenged. The poncho pattern is lovely!

Lace is one of my favorite things to knit or crochet. I love the delicate look of lace in shawls, scarves, sweaters, and even socks. When making gifts for my female family members or friends, I always choose a lace pattern. I’ve knit several shawls and scarves for them and they are always very appreciated by the recipient.

I enjoy knitting lace patterns for the extra comfort. Being very warm natured and prone to frequent “power surges,” any cool air is welcomed through the lace patterns.

It is not easy to make “lacy” things with crochet, but I like to try. I cannot knit at all. I loved the necklace you made with Solomon’s knot pattern. I have made it with ruffle yarn and a P hook, and with some sequned rayon and an F hook. Love your site and love to watch you on ROKU.

I have done a few lacy scarves with a finer yarn (like a silk/wool blend) and just loved doing it! It was challenging for sure – but that makes it so much more fun for me!

I agree Heather, I like the shawl too. Oops, I guess it’s more of a “Poncho”. I KNOW I would never make it though, I knit far too slow for an item of that size. I’m afraid I would absolutely hate it and be sick of looking at it by the time I was just part way through.
That yarn is absolutely gorgeous! I hope enough Knitcrater’s reply so we will know if this colorway was made specifically for THIS Knitcrate.
