This was the number one reason it took me so long to learn to knit. Reading a book might help you with the motions of creating a cast on, but it doesn’t tell you all the problems you might encounter and how to overcome them to make a cast on you can actually work into.


But, have no fear, that is what I’m here for. I walk you through one of the most popular knit cast ons — the long tail cast on. I give you tips to make sure your cast on is something you can actually work into when it’s time to work your first row.
