We All Scream For…

Knitcrate Ice Scream Theme!!!

I just got my June 2018 Knitcrate basic membership in the mail and I’m excited to show you what I received.

First off, I received the same super cute and handy Knitcrate box with this cute little message under the tissue paper:

Next, I pulled out this month’s theme card and had a read.

The fresh neons and icy brights of this month’s shipment will have you screaming for more.

Then, I was on to the good stuff.

Vidalana is our beautiful yarn this month.

Not only is it a beautiful turquoise, but it’s super soft and squishy! Just look at the contents!

75% Superwash Merino, 15% Nylon and 10% Cashmere!!

You will have the softest socks/scarf/shawl on the block!

The colorway I received is called “Chewies” and I would love to figure out what that might refer to. If you have any clue leave me a comment below.

The yarn is a nice fingering weight with over 400 yards per hank so this is great for knit or crochet.

But wait! There’s more! We also get two patterns for each Knitcrate. One in knit:

This month it is the Minty Fresh Shawl from designer Tiaga Hilliard.

A beautiful lacy shawl that would work with your summertime beach outfit.

And a crochet pattern:

Lemoncello by designer Kahlurah Hudson (love her name!)

A cute lacy poncho that would be a perfect swimsuit topper.
