If you’ve been following along with my Temu crochet kit series, you already know… I’ve tried a few of these, and the results can be all over the place. Some are surprisingly decent, others are a complete mess. So when I came across this $16 Temu Gnome Crochet Kit, I had to add it to the lineup—mostly because it was so cute and honestly looked pretty realistic in the photos.
But we all know how that can go.
This kit is supposed to come with enough materials to make two gnomes—a boy and a girl. But at this point, I’ve learned not to trust appearances alone, especially with Temu kits.
Since this isn’t my first rodeo, I went into this one with a little experience and a little skepticism. I wanted to see if the materials and pattern actually deliver, or if this is another one of those kits that looks better online than it does in real life.
And I’ll just say this, there were some definite differences…
If you’ve ever been tempted by these crochet kits (or you’ve already added a few to your cart), this one is definitely worth taking a closer look at before you commit. There’s a lot going on here, and not all of it is obvious at first glance.
