The Move So Far

So if you’ve been following along, you know that I’m moving. Today is/was move day and we did not quite finish. Unfortunately, the day we decide to move is the day it decides to rain for the first time in months. That slowed us by a lot and now we are calling it a night. Thankfully we don’t have anywhere to be at a specific date so we have some wiggle room.

So why am I telling you this you ask?

Just in case you need me for a question or some help, I might be a little slow in answering. It’s now 8pm and I’m just getting around to answering all my emails from today. So I’m super sorry for any delays, but tomorrow will probably more of the same (there is a 50% chance of rain again, so who knows when we will finish). Send no rain vibes my way if you can!

Lol. I’m hoping we’ll get lucky. It was so weird. No forecast for rain, it said there was a chance tomorrow, then bam! Super downpour. I just read that the Oakland A’s stadium had flooding from it. The Bay Area wanted to send us off with a fond memory I guess. 🙂

Isn’t that always the way things go? You need to allow 2x as much time as you thought it would take. Good luck for tomorrow and I hope it doesn’t rain. It just started here.

To top it all off, I had accidentally packed all my sneakers in the back of the truck (I had slip on Toms shoes thinking they would be fine). So I had to drive in the torrential downpour to go get some because I had a close call with slipping off the side of the truck. So much fun! So happy I didn’t hurt myself.

Let me know what you think
