Darn Good Yarn is giving away a $500 gift card. The contest runs through June 7th, 2017, so head over there now and enter.
Welcome to the updated Knit and Crochet Ever After!
I’ve added the knit to better reflect all the patterns I’m selling.
Plus, I’m working on some learn to knit for crocheters videos and pattern workshops.
All the websites I’m on will receive the new treatment so be sure to update any bookmarks when you see them.
Crocheteverafter.com will stay live for awhile, but you can bookmark http://knitandcrocheteverafter.com now if you like.
Be sure to subscribe to the website so you know when the new classes are live.
I just got this email and wanted to share because it’s such a great deal. If you subscribe today to Knitcrate, you can get a past crate for free! That’s a $50+ freebie!!!
Be sure to enter the promo code:freecrate when checking out.
Congrats Deborah who left this comment:
Mine are pretty simple to most but I am a beginner and a lefty so I love your videos. I would love to see coffee & mug cozies, headbands, fingerless gloves and those beaded crochet necklaces if that’s something you do. Also I believe they are called motifs (I think) owls, skull, and cats so they can be added to the headbands & cozies. Thank you for the opportunity and I really like that black ring.
She will be picking one of the counter rings (I’m guessing the black on from her comment). Then there will still be two left, so be sure to subscribe to the blog to find out when the next contest will start.
I bet you were wondering what happened to the Counter Rings.
I didn’t forget about them or you. I was just waiting for the super generous guys of Critsuccess to hook up their new, knit and crochet-focused website.
The Counter Ring is now live.
I love these rings, and I still use mine whenever I have a project where I need to keep track of rows. It is always in my project bag, and I am contemplating getting a couple extra so I am never without one.
In case you are new to the Counter Ring, check out my video to see it in action.
I was given four rings from The Counter Ring company and I have three left to giveaway.
I’m going to be giving away the rings over the course of the next couple months. They will be given away one at a time.
The next winner (see below how to enter) will get their choice of any of the three remaining colors seen pictured. The sizes for each color are:
Rainbow – size 9
Black – size 9
Blue – size 8
Gold – size 8
Each subsequent winner (new posts will be started for each giveaway, so be sure to subscribe to the blog if you haven’t already), will get their choice from the remaining rings.
Enter a comment in this post with what kind of free patterns you would like to see me make videos for this year.
*US residents over 18 only please. Entries accepted until January 31st, 2017 midnight Pacific time. The winner will be chosen and announced February 1st, 2017.

Knit Picks is having another free with purchase promotion. These totes are super cute, don’t you think? Which one is your favorite?
I’m partial to the superpower tote. Makes me feel less guilty about my own stash.
There are still 10 days left to shop for Christmas. If your loved one is crocheter, here are the perfect gifts that are always useful no matter how many the crocheter already has.
These Furls candy colored crochet hooks will be your crocheter’s new favorite hook. Plus, they are a perfect gift to keep giving. One hook for each special occasion (if the sticker shock of buying them all at once scares you). Whoever said diamonds are a woman’s best friend, also said these hooks are her second best.
Not quite as shiny as the Furls, but these are my go to favorite hooks of all time.
You can never have too many hooks, and these are the best quality for the money. Plus you can get the whole set for the same price as one of the Furls.
This yarn bowl could actually be in the “save” section as well depending on how much you want to spend. Etsy alone has over 4,000 currently listed, with it’s most expensive at over $400.
Yarn bowls have made a huge explosion over the past year and it’s a good chance your crocheter might not even have one yet. But, if they do, don’t worry, they will always be able to use more.
This bowl is a great deal and was just mentioned by Good Housekeeping as a must have for knitters and crocheters.
With is tiny price tag, it’s a great choice for those on a budget.
Your crocheter can always use another project bag, so this is a no brainer.
The project bags from Slipped Stitches have every pop reference imaginable (I’m partial to Labyrinth- pictured here). This is their largest tote, but they have many other sizes (and price points) available.
What this lacks in style, it makes up for in utility. This thing is a workhorse, holding up to 8 skeins of yarn. If your crocheter loves making blankets, this is the tote for them.
If you are a crocheter, what would you like for the holidays? Let us know below.
This has great resources not just for knitting and crochet, but also drawing, sewing, and even baking.
It’s Day 11 of the 12 Days of Craftsy, and the goodies keep on coming! Today, we’re showcasing a few oh-so delightful free references.
My favorite yarn store has a sale going on.
Most of my patterns are made in Knit Picks yarn. Now is a great time to check them out!
