If you get car sick like I do, try these tips on your next road trip. Let me know if you’ve got any good tips too.

1. Stick to easy repeats.
Now is not the time to start on a heirloom lace shawl. Pick an easy stitch repeat so you don’t have to consult a pattern constantly.
.
2. Pick a project with a short row repeat.
Choose a pattern that you don’t have to keep track of the rows. I’m working on a super simple one-row repeat baby blanket pattern I will be releasing soon and I chose to start this pattern during my road trip specifically for its easy repeat. I can look up when I need to and I don’t have to write anything down as I work.

3. Work stitches you don’t have to look at.
You know which stitches you can do by feel, pick a project that uses those so you can work without having to stare at the project the whole time. The more I look up, the less likely I get car sick.
