Here is the next applique / learn how to read a chart free pattern workshop. This simple sun uses some new chart reading techniques to help you expand your ability.
It’s been a while since I posted an applique video, so I’m trying to get some more done.
Here is my next free applique pattern, a cute little butterfly.
As with all the applique patterns, there is a chart included as well as a video tutorial on how to read the chart while making the pattern. This little guy works up in minutes with scraps of yarn.
I’ve added a new applique video to my collection. These are a pair of cute cherries and are very fast to make. Click here to go get the pattern and watch the video.
The applique videos that I produce all have instructions on how to read the included crochet charts, so if you’ve never tried or have always wanted to learn to read charts, these short projects are a great way to start learning.
I’ll be adding tons more applique projects in the coming weeks and months (I’ve got over 50 appliques made, just need to create videos for each), so if you’re not following the blog already, you should sign up if you want to get notifications each time I add a new one. Just put in your email in the box on the right to sign up and you’re set!
I’ve been busily converting my right hand video tutorials into left. I’ve uploaded at least 20 new videos under the Tutorial section. Plus on top of that, I’ve begun a new series of Free Pattern Workshops that are all cute and easy appliques. Not only are these little projects great stash busters, but the video will also teach you how to read the included chart. So if you’ve ever wanted to learn to read charts, these videos will walk you through all kinds of different stitches and set ups. I’ve got the three appliques below loaded up. Click on one of the pictures to go straight to the video and pattern. I’ll be making lots more of these, so if you follow my blog (with the link on the right) you will get notified when I add new ones.
