Flowers of course! Here is cute little pansy for the newest free Motif of the Month. Super fast to work up with only two rounds.
The newest Motif of the Month can be made with one to four different colors. It is a fast motif that can be completed in minutes (minus the weaving in of ends depending on your color changes).
The video tutorial that goes with the pattern will show you how to begin your rounds with a standing double crochet, so you can eliminate the unsightly CH 3 round starters.
Here is the newest Motif of the Month. The Cluster Flower’s airy quality combined with a large size makes for a quick and easy project.

My Mimi is my great-grandmother, and she is the one who taught me to crochet when I was a little girl.
Recently while visiting my parent’s house, my mom gave me one of my Mimi’s old granny square blankets.
I loved the look of this motif so much I had to remake it for this month’s Motif of the Month.
However, the blanket hasn’t held up real well. A lot of it has slightly felted, so trying to recreate it was a little difficult.
This is my version of my Mimi’s granny square and it’s the newest Motif of the Month. It reminded me of a flower so I chose the colors you see for ease of viewing on the video tutorial. I highly recommend trying out some of my Mimi’s color choices though, they are fantastic!
