The newest motif of the month is a super fast open work flower made with fun and easy bobbles.
Never made a bobble? No worries. I walk you though it step-by-step in the free video tutorial that accompanies the free written pattern.
This month’s motif is a hexagon/circle motif. It has six sides, but they are not pronounced so you could use it either as a circle or hexagon.
I really like this new motif. The flower has a 3D effect that is really cool.
Plus there is no sewing!
The square is crocheted right into the flower.
It’s actually quite easy, especially with the free video tutorial.
August 31st is still August, so I made it this month for the new Motif of the Month – The Loopy Flower Motif.
First, I’m moving cross country very shortly and have been working on getting ready for the move and finding housing, so that has been taking up a lot of time.
Second, I live next to the Mohave desert and it’s been too hot in my recording room (no insulation or A/C), so I have been avoiding it as much as possible.
I will get the video production back up to make sure there are lots of free pattern workshops and the motif of the months will be on time, so stay tuned.
Here is July’s motif of the month.
You can use one to four colors to make this easy and fast 8 petal flower motif. Its large size makes it perfect for a blanket or shawl.
