Recently I am trying to crochet a baby mittens and the bottom part the patterns says 2 fpsc and 2 bpsc all around for 2 rows.. i tried few times but the result ended up looking a bit weird. Please help! 🙂

It sounds like you should be getting a ribbed effect. Is it not looking ribbed? Make sure your stitches are lining up. As in, make sure your FPSCs are on top of each other and the same with the BPSC.

Hi Deja, I want to create the chunky ribbing (like your example in the blue yarn). I am making your heart beanie. I have done one row with alternating two sc and two FPDC. So you mention that the next row will have the BPDC ?do I need to turn the work. thanks for your help Sue

If you’re working in the round you can stick with the fpdc. You will only use bpdc if you turn your work. 🙂
