Oh hey there!
I had a question about Knitcrate. I’m on the fence between starting a Knitcrate subscription or something like Yarnbox Luxe. I am drawn to the Knitcrate because of the point system they have, so my question is what has your experience with their point system been like? Do you like it and is it worth it?
Thanks!
Deja Jetmir
The point systems is great. They can add up doing reviews and referring friends. The yarnbox tends to have more expensive yarn since that is all they send, whereas Knitcrate has lots of extra goodies and somewhat expensive yarn. π

Thanks for the info! =D

I am currenly working on 9 WIPS: 4 shawls, 3 scarves, a mkal dishcloth, and a monthly mkal afghan square for 2015.

Does it have to be just one WIP? That would be impossible! My most recently started one is a really cute baby blanket for a friend’s baby, in pale yellow as I don’t know if it’s a boy or girl. Also working on socks for myself… Plus other WIPs that are currently on hold!

I’m trying to make llama mittens with yellow furry yarn based on the llama and alapaca toys from Alpacasso. I’m hoping to enter them into a contest but making a tutorial is a long process.

My “Lifetime Afghan” — that’s what I call it. I have a double yarn, ripple afghan that I started 30 years ago and I am finally down to the last two skeins! I’ve been captured by other projects (that I have finished!), but for some reason, this one, I keep putting off. Each row just seems to take so long to complete; I think it’s just too big a project for me. Live and learn, I guess. I love the patterns you’re giving away! They are the perfect size for me to start and finish!
