Caydo Electric i-Cord Knitting Tricotin Machine i1 Pro – Too Good to Be True?
I came across the Caydo Electric i-Cord Knitting Tricotin Machine i1 Pro and immediately had questions. Not in a “wow this is amazing” kind of way… more like a “…there’s no way this is as easy as it looks” kind of way. Because if you’ve ever made i-cords by hand, you already know the situation.…
I Tried a Temu Crochet Cloud Slipper Kit… and This One Really Shocked Me
I’ve reviewed quite a few yarns and crochet supplies from Temu, and honestly, sometimes the results are better than expected… and sometimes they’re exactly what you’d think. But this one? This one really shocked me. I came across a “Crochet Cloud Slipper Kit” that looked amazing in the listing photos. The slippers looked soft, chunky,…
Is the $13 Temu Cat Bed Crochet Kit a Scam?
I ordered another crochet kit from Temu, and this time it was a $13 cat bed crochet kit that looked adorable in the listing photos. After testing the shell purse crochet kit recently, I wanted to see if this one would actually live up to what it promised. According to the listing, this kit should…
How to Fix Loose Edge Stitches in Knitting for Cleaner, Tighter Edges
If you’ve ever finished a row, turned your work, and noticed that weird long, floppy stitch hanging off the edge… you’re not alone. That loose first stitch is one of the most common knitting frustrations, especially on scarves, blankets, and any flat project where the edges really show. It happens because every stitch normally gets…
Are Temu Crochet Kits Worth It? ~ I Bought Some To Find Out
During my last Temu haul, I was suddenly flooded with crochet kit listings. I’ve never really bought kits before, but I couldn’t help being curious. I wanted to see if the finished project would really turn out like the listing photos, or if this was one of those “looks amazing online, disappointing in person” situations.…
More Etsy Finds for Knitters & Crocheters (Impulse Buys I Had to Question)
I picked up a few more things from Etsy and filmed another Etsy Finds video — because apparently I have zero self-control when it comes to yarn tools. There are three items in this one. Two of them could work for both knitting and crocheting. The third? Let’s just say it made me seriously question…
Weave in Ends As You Knit (No Yarn Needle Required)
Tired of stopping at the end of a project just to weave in a million ends? My new knitting tutorial shows you how to weave in ends as you work, so you can cut down on finishing time and keep your momentum going. This method isn’t meant to replace traditional weaving in or ultra-secure finishing…
This Is My Third Temu Order… So Let’s See What I Think
Temu has some interesting things that I don’t see other places, so this is my third time ordering from them. In my latest video, I unbox and review a mix of yarn and tools to see whether these Temu finds are the best deals ever, or just a waste of money. In this video I…

Hi Deja. I purchased your squishy blanket pattern, and I have a question. According to the pattern, you K1B on both the right and wrong sides. In the pattern key, it says to K1B on the right side, and to P1B on the wrong side. However, you don’t provide an explanation of how to P1B. Was that just a typo? Please respond. Thank you. PS: Love your patterns!
Deja Joy
Hi there, you are correct! That was a typo, please disregard that P1B. So sorry about that!

The newsletter stated that this was a shawl. Is there a pattern for a Meadow Shawl? I like the stitches in this, but I don’t make cowls. (They make me uncomfortable, so I always think they might bother people that I would give as a gift, too!)
Deja Joy
I’m so sorry! I accidentally typed shawl instead of cowl (I updated it). I don’t have a shawl pattern in this stitch pattern, but I will keep it in mind for a future free pattern workshop! So sorry again!!
