Suggested Yarn
Vanna’s Choice yarn (affiliate link) is a beloved and versatile yarn that has become a staple in the crafting community. Created in collaboration with the renowned television personality and avid crocheter, Vanna White, this yarn is celebrated for its exceptional quality and wide array of vibrant colors. Crafted from a blend of acrylic fibers, Vanna’s Choice offers a soft and easy-to-work-with texture, making it ideal for various projects such as blankets, scarves, and garments. Its durability and machine-washable nature ensure that your handmade creations will stand the test of time.
Safety Eyes Used
Amigurumi safety eyes (affiliate link) add a playful touch to your crocheted creations, providing a secure and charming way to bring your amigurumi characters to life. These eyes come in various sizes and colors, allowing for customization to suit your design. It’s essential to prioritize safety, especially when crafting for young children. If your amigurumi creation is intended for a child under 3 years old, consider sewing the eyes securely instead of using safety eyes to eliminate any potential choking hazards. This simple precaution ensures that your adorable amigurumi remains not only cute but also safe for little ones to enjoy.

How would you enlarge it?
Deja Joy
The easiest way to enlarge is to use larger yarn and a slightly larger hook.

I really want to thank you for this tutorial. I never thought I could make it, but I did! In fact, I did it a second time half of the size! I wish I could send you pictures! I live in Cuba and here it is not possible to find the eyes you used, so I had to “embroided” them and it werent so nice, but I am really glad anyway!!! Thanks!!!

That’s fantastic, I’m so glad you were able to make the pattern. ๐ Wish they had the eyes for you.

Just want to say thanks for this great pattern! I just made this little cutie a couple of days ago, although I’ve have to still sew all the pieces together. It was easier than I thought it would be and I’m so thankful for you pattern! It was easy to understand and follow, I didn’t even have to use the video instructions! I thought I would, but it came out great so far! I did run out of my green yarn I was using and don’t have enough to make the tail, so I’ll just have to be a little more creative with that! I’m making this as a Christmas gift for my best friends daughter who loves the color green and loves turtles! How perfect!

That’s great! Thanks so much!!

I finally finished Tessa! I got busy last Christmas and didn’t get a chance to finish her just recently, but just wanted to share it with you. I wanted to share a picture of her, but not sure if I can do that here? Or on Facebook?
Thanks again for the great pattern! She came out so cute!
Deja Jetmir
I would love to see that. ๐ You can post it to the Facebook page.
