Rosette Stitch

The Rosette Stitch is super unique, but not too difficult. The flowers are created while crocheting and create so much texture on your finished fabric. This pattern would be so cool in a blanket pattern using blocks of different stitch patterns or as panels on garments. The flowers are attached so they will not flop over, though blocking is necessary to make them lay flat in certain yarns.

The side facing the camera is loose and they are attached on the opposite side.

Suggested Materials

This stitch can be made with a variety of yarns and weights. Even fun yarns like boucle or eyelash can work because the rosettes do not need tons of stitch definition to show off their interesting texture. See a couple of recommendations below.

The “Zen” Tutorial

This is a new series for my video tutorials. It is completely voiceless and just plays very relaxing music as it walks you through the stitches. Each stitch is worked very slowly and multiple times so you can see what needs to be done. There is a written pattern to follow along with and helps you to work on your crochet skills with limited interference.
