Honeycomb Stitch

The Honeycomb stitch is an all-over bobble crochet stitch pattern. With an easy 4-row repeat, you will memorize the pattern quickly and multitask away.

This pattern is obviously a yarn eater (uses lots of yarn) with so many bobbles, so be sure to have more yarn than you think you need for your project. Since the bobbles are on one side only, reversible projects are not ideal. This stitch would be great for a cowl, or wrist warmers where only one side shows.

Suggested Materials

Using a good yarn that gives definition and structure is a must. A good stiff cotton or wool yarn would be best. See some recommendations below.

The “Zen” Tutorial

This is a new series for my video tutorials. It is completely voiceless and just plays very relaxing music as it walks you through the stitches. Each stitch is worked very slowly and multiple times so you can see what needs to be done. There is a written pattern to follow along with and helps you to work on your crochet skills with limited interference.
