According to Toolour, the Double Head LED Desk Lamp offers a wide, shadow-free 27-inch light range, perfect for large work areas or multi-monitor setups. With 50 customizable illumination options—featuring five color modes and 10 brightness levels—each light bar can be used individually or together for tailored lighting. A remote control adds convenience, while the 2-in-1 design includes a heavy-duty base and versatile clamp for flexible positioning. Additional features like a sleep timer, memory function, and eye-care technology make this lamp a standout choice for comfort and efficiency.
That’s a lot of information, but none of it matters if the lamp isn’t easy to use or doesn’t meet my crafting needs! Setting it up was quick and simple, so I put it to the test. Here’s what I think.
What I’m Loving About It:
- 27-Inch Double Head Design:
- The bright, even light eliminates shadows, allowing me to position the lamp perfectly around my project. This gives me clear, balanced lighting from multiple angles, making it easy to see my stitches without straining my eyes.
- With my poor close-up vision, this makes it so much easier to see.
- I can position it so it’s not glaring in my eyes or my husband’s while we are doing things like watching TV.
- 50 Customizable Lighting Options:
- Two adjustable light bars with 5 color temperatures and 10 brightness levels allow me to give the perfect brightness for what I need at any time of day.
- I can turn it down at night when I don’t need as bright lighting, or turn it up when my eyes are tired and I need extra light.
- Remote Control:
- Change settings without leaving your project. I don’t have to reach for the cord to switch brightness or turn one side off if I don’t need it.
- Flexible Setup:
- Use the sturdy base or save space with the clamp. I can clamp it to my desk for more space, or use the base if I’m using the light for extra lighting for a video. Which, by the way, is a great extra use, it’s like a better adjustable “ring light” that the flexible arm can be adjusted to light more than just my face.
- Sleep Timer:
- You can set the auto-off timer for 30 or 60 minutes. If I want some light while winding down for bed, I use the lowest brightness setting and set the timer so the lamp turns off automatically if I fall asleep.
- Memory Settings:
- Keeps your preferred settings for convenience. If I like a certain setting. When I turn it off, it remembers that setting so I don’t have to reset it.
- This is also great for making videos, as it remembers my settings if I need to stop and come back to film later.
While using this lamp, I found that the two adjustable heads made it perfect for detailed work like knitting and crocheting. Being able to shine light from both the top and the side at the same time made it much easier to see my stitches, especially when working with dark yarns.
