If you follow me on Instagram, you will know that I love a good road trip pattern. A road trip pattern is anything that you can work on while in the car. The two key things to making it a good one is that it is:

1) not a small project –you don’t want to run out of stitching before you get there and,

2) that it is an easy repeat — you want to not have to look at a pattern on every row/round.

My newest pattern is both and I actually made the sample during a road trip!

Snuggle Baby Blanket

Love the gender-neutral palette of this yarn.

The Snuggle Baby Blanket is a super easy blanket pattern that has a simple to remember 2-row repeat. The pattern includes instructions on how you can make it a larger blanket if you want. The blanket made as written is 30″ wide and 48″ long.

Pattern gives instructions on make it larger.

The Yarn

Self-striping yarn is my favorite!

I used Lion Brand Ice Cream Roving Stripes in Dots for the bag. This is a beautiful pastel self-striped yarn that makes a beautiful blanket. The Dots color is great for a gender-neutral present. You will need three skeins to make the pattern size blanket.
