2 Row Series: TBL Rib Knit Stitch Tutorial
Here is the next in a series of 2-row repeat knit stitch tutorials I plan to release. I love short pattern repeat patterns for relaxing projects that you can do in the car, at the doctor’s office, or just watching your favorite series.

The next stitch pattern up is the TBL Knit Stitch. TBL means “through the back loop” and it takes the super easy 1 x 1 knit rib and changes it up slightly to make a very visible raised rib. It is still super stretchy and both sides look great, yet different, so this would be great for a scarf or anything where you want a reversible fabric.
Any weight yarn would look great in this stitch pattern. See a couple of suggestions below for some great worsted weight yarn.
Suggested Materials

The video tutorial will walk you through the stitch pattern as well as how to “unknit” your stitches if you make a mistake. It also gives a special tip on binding off that you will want to understand to give you the best finished edge.

The button below will take you to the written pattern and video tutorial. If you use this stitch, let us know below what is your favorite project to utilize it in.
