Here’s To My Mimi
My Mimi is my great-grandmother, and she is the one who taught me to crochet when I was a little girl.
Recently while visiting my parent’s house, my mom gave me one of my Mimi’s old granny square blankets.
I loved the look of this motif so much I had to remake it for this month’s Motif of the Month.
However, the blanket hasn’t held up real well. A lot of it has slightly felted, so trying to recreate it was a little difficult.

This is my version of my Mimi’s granny square and it’s the newest Motif of the Month. It reminded me of a flower so I chose the colors you see for ease of viewing on the video tutorial. I highly recommend trying out some of my Mimi’s color choices though, they are fantastic!
