O man, I am so weak, when it comes to yarn! But I usually always buy white, and different shades, thinking I don’t have that or enough of it for whatever project to start/finish.
Patricia Morales

Blues – definitely Blues …

Blues – for some reason …. maybe it’s because I have an affinity to water.

Mint green. It is a color I am obsessed with this season!

Well, for the most part I too am a thrift shop gal. That actually makes crochet life quite interesting, in that the colors and quantity of each help to inspire me to find THE pattern to utilize all!

Pink, the closer to flesh the better. I love to make dolls to give to little girls, just to see them smile, so I look for pale pinks, flesh colored yarn is very hard to come by.
Joyce
Pink, as close to flesh color as I can get. I love making dolls for little girls, just to see them smile. It is really hard to find a flesh color, so when I run across a shade, I will get it, for the dolls.
IM Garcia
I can not resist greens and blues… I seem to always gravitate to those colors!
Terri Ward
I can’t pass up creams and ballet pink, especially if they’re mixed together – you know, that real pale, pinkish-peachish color like a ballet slipper. Not only is it hard to find but it’s beautiful! Pick me! Pick me!

About 99% of my yarn purchases are from the thrift shops, where making a color selection is not an option, you just gotta take what they’ve got or forget it. When I do get to the LYS, my eyes are always drawn to the blues – my favorite color – but I ususally wind up with something else, usually a cheerful multi colorway or something from the neutrals. Thanks for the giveaway, this yarn is gorgeous!
paytongracew
My go to color is dark blue. I love it and find even when buying multi colored yarn it always has a deep dark blue.

To be honest, I’m drawn to all the colors! I just love having a variety at home to choose from for new projects. But if I had to choose….it would mostly be shades of blues and greys.
Susanne
Blue and green!
Bev
In the past I’ve played it safe with black, grey, brown and creams. I’ve now graduated to making items for three teenaged relatives and love the brighter colors too. I went through all the many beautiful colors and if I could only pick one it would be the Alchemy with all of its rich colors.
sapierce
I go for any shade of pink, peach or apricot.
sapierce
I go for the pink shades including the peaches and apricots.

My go to color is just about any shade of blue. Most of my stash is made up of blue yarn.
Rachel
When I’m at a yarn shop, I can’t resist buying blue yarn. Anything that reminds me of the beautiful variety of blues of Lake Michigan, I have to purchase. Blue is such a calming color, too which is probably why I love it so much.
Cheryl
Since red is my neutral, I’d have to say all shades of red, especially ‘sunny’ reds.
Many thanks for the opportunity.
