The structured yarn allows you to wear the leg warmers high on your calves or squish them down around your ankles. They would also make great boot toppers having the ribbed section fold over the top.
Yarn Used

For this pattern, I used Lion Brand’s Hometown Super Bulky Yarn (affiliate link). You will hold two strands together throughout the project to get a stiff basket that can stand on its own. I love Hometown because it comes in such a wide range of colors from solids to tweeds.
Hook Used

You will need a US L hook, and let me tell you, my go-to are Prym crochet hooks (affiliate link) for larger-sized hooks. Prym hooks are my absolute favorites, thanks to their long shaft and smooth glide surface. These hooks make stitching feel like a breeze.
I hope you enjoy this pattern and would love to see what you make with it. Be sure to tag me on Insta or Facebook with @knitandcrocheteverafter, I love seeing what you guys come up with!
