Creating Vertical Ribbing In Double Crochet With Post Stitches
This tutorial shows you how to use front post and back post double crochets (FPDC, BPDC) to create a vertical ribbing effect in your double crochet project.
Hi Deja! Even though I now consider myself an experienced crocheter, I still come right back here whenever I hit a snag. I am working a pattern with fpdc in the first stitch and bpdc in the last stitch of the row. I am not liking how this looks on the sides. Is there a difference in how these stitches are done on the ends of the rows?

What is the design using at the beginning of the row? If just turning chains, try doing the tall chain and it should look better.
