You could catch it, but it might start to run inside of the stitches instead of behind. Then you will get the intarsia, or tapestry look and those would show through. Best bet is to do it no more than every 3rd stitch so you can easily keep the float behind the stitch you are working. π

Could you catch your yarn in every stitch of the float? Or would that yarn color show too much on the front side?
