Knitcrate Reveal ~ Win a Tool Kit and eBook of patterns!
My Knitcrate is here! And there are lots of goodies in it that I will be giving away. Read on to see what I got and what you can get.
First Up: The Soothing Extra

Flavrz Organic Drink Mix ($2 value)
This 1 oz travel packet of Flavrz Organic drink mix is made with all natural flavors and colors, which if you are a water flavor drink connoisseur like I am, you know that is hard to come by.
I already tried it and it was quite delicious. There was no aftertaste, it was sweet and the color was a natural cherry color (no neon pink). At about $1 a packet (when you buy in bulk) if you are an organic junkie this is a great alternative to having to drink plain water on the go.
There is also a promo code from Flavrz for 25% your next purchase on their site.
Next Up: The Fun Extra and Free Patterns

Up for grabs is the free eBook and Fun Extra I received this month.
The free patterns are Adventure Knitting 1 by Lee Meredith ($14 value)
These are adorable colorful knitting patterns that I would totally keep if I knitted more.
Lee also gives us a 25% off promo code for her site (which is super cute as well.) Plus $5 off her current KAL (knit along).

The Fun Extra is the Knitter’s Tool Tin by The Sexy Knitter ($25 value)
While I love this tin, I actually have everything I can use in it already. You can see the breakdown of what comes in it in the video below, but believe me, it has everything you could need while traveling all in a handy tin.
Check out how to win it, and the eBook, down below.
Lastly: The Yarn

The yarn this month is by Drew Emborsky (The “Crochet Dude”) and it’s called Sarcastic. ($36 value)
These are from the “Decades” collection and this cotton blend (50% Pima and 50% tencel) is from the 1960s. It has the cutest color names, the top one is called “twister” and the bottom is “leisure suit”.
Hand dyed in the USA, they are super soft hanks and colors are beautiful.
I have an idea for these two hanks and two other hanks I have that have a similar dye pattern (though very different colors).
You’ll have to wait and see what they will be, but I’m excited to get started on it so it should be sooner rather than later.
Now for the giveaway

Win the eBook and Knitter’s tin (which has plenty for the crocheter as well) by leaving a comment in this post about what your next cold weather project will be.

My winter project wil be a catniss cowl for the Hunger Games movie. I am not a fan of the movie but could not get enough of looking at the sexy, crazy and dangerously stylish cowl. Then I plan to make the hat, fingerless gloves, and boot cuffs to match. Hey a gal might be cold but she can still rock some cool fashion while being warm…and getting compliments :).

I am working on my first knitted project and its a sweater. I just finished the back of the sweater. And the best part is that I have been teaching myself to knit with the amazing help of blogs and you tube. Wish I could post a picture because I’m so proud. Even if I cant wear it, I am still happy with my progress. This knitters tool tin would be great, as I don’t have much supplies, and really don’t know whats good and useful. If anyone has any tips on supplies I should have, I welcome all suggestions. Good luck to all. And happy knitting/ crocheting.
