Knitcrate Reveal ~ Win a Tool Kit and eBook of patterns!

My Knitcrate is here! And there are lots of goodies in it that I will be giving away. Read on to see what I got and what you can get.

First Up: The Soothing Extra

Pretty darn yummy!
Pretty darn yummy!

Flavrz Organic Drink Mix ($2 value)

This 1 oz travel packet of Flavrz Organic drink mix is made with all natural flavors and colors, which if you are a water flavor drink connoisseur like I am, you know that is hard to come by.

I already tried it and it was quite delicious. There was no aftertaste, it was sweet and the color was a natural cherry color (no neon pink). At about $1 a packet (when you buy in bulk) if you are an organic junkie this is a great alternative to having to drink plain water on the go.

There is also a promo code from Flavrz for 25% your next purchase on their site.

Next Up: The Fun Extra and Free Patterns

Knitcrate Reveal
You’ll get both of these in the giveaway!

Up for grabs is the free eBook and Fun Extra I received this month.

The free patterns are Adventure Knitting 1 by Lee Meredith ($14 value)

These are adorable colorful knitting patterns that I would totally keep if I knitted more.

Lee also gives us a 25% off promo code for her site (which is super cute as well.) Plus $5 off her current KAL (knit along).

So much stuff!
So much stuff!

The Fun Extra is the Knitter’s Tool Tin by The Sexy Knitter ($25 value)

While I love this tin, I actually have everything I can use in it already. You can see the breakdown of what comes in it in the video below, but believe me, it has everything you could need while traveling all in a handy tin.

Check out how to win it, and the eBook, down below.

Lastly: The Yarn

Love the color names.
Love the color names.

The yarn this month is by Drew Emborsky (The “Crochet Dude”) and it’s called Sarcastic. ($36 value)

These are from the “Decades” collection and this cotton blend (50% Pima and 50% tencel) is from the 1960s. It has the cutest color names, the top one is called “twister” and the bottom is “leisure suit”.

Hand dyed in the USA, they are super soft hanks and colors are beautiful.

I have an idea for these two hanks and two other hanks I have that have a similar dye pattern (though very different colors).

You’ll have to wait and see what they will be, but I’m excited to get started on it so it should be sooner rather than later.

Now for the giveaway

Win the eBook and Knitter’s tin (which has plenty for the crocheter as well) by leaving a comment in this post about what your next cold weather project will be.

Entries will be accepted through Sunday Aug. 31st and the winner will be announced Monday, Sept.1st. Only one entry per person and only US residents please.

Check out a closer look of everything in the crate this month with the video below.

My winter project wil be a catniss cowl for the Hunger Games movie. I am not a fan of the movie but could not get enough of looking at the sexy, crazy and dangerously stylish cowl. Then I plan to make the hat, fingerless gloves, and boot cuffs to match. Hey a gal might be cold but she can still rock some cool fashion while being warm…and getting compliments :).

I am working on a ripple baby (crib size) blanket in soft to vibrant shades of pink, along with a soft gray ripple for my granddaughter Layla. I can see her cuddling with her Daddy now. I also have three little girls to make hats for with cowl necks for toasty winter wear. I would love to try out Drew’s new yarn, love the color AND the decade!

  • Alice

I will be knitting socks as I am a relatively new knitter. I will be crocheting 2 afghans for Christmas, one for my daughter and another for my daughter-in-law. Looking forward to my winter projects!

  • Lacey

My next cold weather project will be my first ever sweater. I’ve decided I should knit one for my son first (he’s 4) so that I can get the general idea and then work one up for myself!

  • Audrey

My next cold weather project is going to be a sweater. I have started many, finished none. I am determined to finish one! Thank you for the videos. I like to see what is in the box even though I am still on the fence

  • Maria Escalante

I will be crocheting an afghan for my father-in-law and trying to teach myself to knit this fall. I know I’ll make a few hats and scarfs for gifts as well. Would love to win as I am relatively new to all of this and am slowly building my supplies! Love your blog!! I subscribe to your YouTube channel too!! THANK YOU!!!!

  • Alexis Davis

I love the give-away! My next winter project is fingerless mitts for my husband and a cowl for myself. 🙂

  • Cropperhopper

I will be making a set of fingerless mitts with a matching hat for my sister for Christmas. A shawl or sweater for my aunt. A sweater for my mother. So far, that will be on my list. What a lovely giveaway! I do love the colors of the yarn!

  • Diana Pierce

My next cold weather project is a teddy bear hoody/cowl for my little cousins! I am making a bunny rabbit one (with the floppy ears) and a fox as well. Can’t wait for the cooler weather!

  • Carol C

I have several WIPs i want to finish this winter. 1st on my list is a zigzag afghan I started last winter. It is way to hot to work on it this in the summer. I love the colors of the yarn in your give away and would be very happy to win it.

  • Sandra Berger

I crochet and collect tins, so this would be great to win. My next cold weather project is a sweater and hat for my brand new grandson, Emmett!

  • Claudia Nieto

I am working on my first knitted project and its a sweater. I just finished the back of the sweater. And the best part is that I have been teaching myself to knit with the amazing help of blogs and you tube. Wish I could post a picture because I’m so proud. Even if I cant wear it, I am still happy with my progress. This knitters tool tin would be great, as I don’t have much supplies, and really don’t know whats good and useful. If anyone has any tips on supplies I should have, I welcome all suggestions. Good luck to all. And happy knitting/ crocheting.

  • Linda Ruquet

I’m working on a blanket for my son, a shawl for my sister, and 2 different cowls. Thanks for the give-away!

  • Flo L

I’m working on a construction themed afghan for my son. The tin and e-book are fantastic! Thank you for the chance to win!!!
