Knit Tutorials
If you’re new to knitting, no worries! I have many beginner tutorial videos to guide you through every step of the process. My tutorials are designed to be easy to follow and will help you master the basics and beyond. You can use the search bar anytime to look for a particular stitch or technique.
Yarn Used

For this pattern, I used Red Heart Unforgettable yarn. It is a dreamy and vibrant yarn that lives up to its name, leaving an unforgettable impression on your crafting projects. This soft and luxurious yarn boasts a long-repeat color pattern, creating mesmerizing gradients and a unique visual appeal. The smooth texture and vibrant hues make it great for scarves and shawls.
The colorway I used was Polo (E793). If substituting, you will need approx. 400 yards of a medium worsted weight yarn.
Knitting Needles Used For Pattern
You will need US 8 [5mm] needles for this pattern. You can use straight or circular, whichever you prefer. I’ve included both sides of the spectrum below from cost effective bamboo to my abolute favorite needles that I use.

This affordable bamboo knitting needle set from Amazon has every size you’ll need to tackle any project. The smooth, lightweight bamboo makes them comfortable to use and helps prevent stitches from slipping off your needles.
If you’re starting out, a bamboo needle set is a great cost-effective choice—but if you’re serious about knitting and ready to invest, the Addi Click Set – Short Lace is in a league of its own. With sharp lace tips, smooth joins, and flexible cords, these needles make even the most intricate projects faster, easier, and more enjoyable.
Additional Supplies Needed
The only other thing you will need is a yarn needle to weave in the ends. My favorite yarn needles are made of metal, they are easy to slide through any yarn. I like the Susan Bates option below.

Gauge For Pattern
Gauge is 4”= 20 sts and 16 rows in pattern to make the same size pictured. However, you don’t have to worry about gauge unless you want it the exact same size. Scarves are great projects for those of us (like me) who don’t enjoy having to make gauge before starting.
Pin For Later

Finished Measurements

The finished size of the scarf (when gauge is followed) is approx. 8” wide x 72″ long.
Construction
The scarf is worked flat with increasing and decreasing to create the chevron.
