Hi there….I love the way you teach. I am just about done w my beenie but its HUGE ……I don’t understand why its so big

Thanks so much for the kind words. Most likely the beanie is huge because you stitches were bigger than mine. Gauge is very important when making something that needs to fit. If you measure how many stitches you have in 4″ it should match what the gauge says on the pattern. Yours is probably reading less stitches than I have which means your stitches are larger than mine. To make them smaller and in turn make the beanie smaller, change to a smaller hook until you get the same amount of stitches the gauge says and then you will get the same sized beanie. π
