Crochet Tutorials
If you’re new to crochet, no worries! I have many beginner tutorial videos to guide you through every step of the process. My tutorials are designed to be easy to follow and will help you master the basics and beyond. You can use the search bar anytime to look for a particular stitch or technique.

Crochet Stitch Used For The Bowls
The stitch used throughout the bowls is just simple single crochet. If you are new to crochet I have slower video tutorials available that will walk you through working the single crochet used in this pattern that you can watch before you start this project.
Yarn Selection

The yarn used in the original printed pattern and video is the pictured Fox T-Shirt Yarn. The yarn is a fun and eco-friendly material made from recycled fabric, perfect for chunky crochet and knitting projects. With its soft yet sturdy texture, it’s great for making baskets, rugs, bags, and other home decor items. The slight stretch of the yarn gives projects a flexible, durable feel, while the variety of colors and prints add a unique touch to every piece.
Other Yarn Options
If you’d like to substitute another yarn for the bowls, you’ll need about 100 yards of super bulky yarn to make the small and large bowls (CA) and about 50 yards to make the medium bowl (CB).
Below are some other options that are a great substitute for the Fox Yarn, which come in different price ranges.

Crochet Hook Used For Pattern
You’ll need a 12mm [US-O] crochet hook for this project.
After testing numerous brands of crochet hooks, I’ve narrowed down my favorites. Below, you’ll find my top picks, ranked from least to most expensive.
$

Prym crochet hooks in larger sizes are known for their lightweight, ergonomic design, making them comfortable to use for extended periods. Their soft, rubberized handles provide a secure grip, reducing hand fatigue, while the smooth, tapered plastic hooks glide effortlessly through yarn.
$$

Clover crochet hooks in larger sizes are favored for their smooth finish and ergonomic comfort. The soft, easy-grip handle reduces hand strain, making them ideal for long crochet sessions. Their lightweight design and well-balanced shape allow for effortless stitching, while the plastic hook tips glide smoothly through yarn without snagging.

For those of you who like to splurge, Furls Crochet hooks are beautiful hooks made from resin, wood, and metal. Their ergonomic design and polished surfaces make each stitch smooth and effortless. Treat yourself to these elegant hooks for a truly premium crochet experience.
Additional Supplies Needed
The pattern is worked in spirals so you will need a stitch marker to keep track of your rounds. I love the split ring ones below as they come in various sizes and the open end is fast to put on and take off as you come to each round.

The only other thing you will need is a yarn needle to weave in the ends. My favorite yarn needles are made of metal, they are easy to slide through any yarn. I like the Susan Bates option below.

Gauge For Pattern
To achieve the same size as listed below, you will need the following gauge: 4”= 7 STS and 8 rows in
pattern. For this project, achieving an exact gauge isn’t critical, so don’t worry too much about it.
Video Tutorial
The video tutorial will walk you through the pattern so all levels of crocheters can make this chic home decor project.
