I am in the middle of the crochet “Owl Basket”. Haven’t don’t anything thia thick before, I love doing it. I love owls x

  • Angie Lang

I too love owls. When I purchased some of your patterns, I noticed it immediately on the wrap pictured. I have many WIP. I am finishing an owl baby afghan, a top, and just started a diamond pattern hat to complement a recently completed vest.

I’m working on a set of interlocking crochet placemats for my kitchen table and a full length spider stitch skirt. I just finished your owl basket as a cover for my bathroom wastebasket, it fit perfectly! I had to do when I saw it all because OWLS was one of my school mascots growing up…LOVE IT!

I’m working on a holster for my Nintendo 3DS so I can get my steps counted even when I’m not wearing something with pockets. It’s too hot to work on anything bigger than that just now. 🙂

  • Mary K

The pin is beautiful. At the moment I’m working on your Mac and Tosh apple and worm design: something the children can put on their desks to make them smile while doing homework. On my knitting needles are cabled mitts. Your designs are lovely and very easy to follow. Thank you.

I am working on my 5th set of 100 crocheted snowflakes. The first was one for my husband and me. Then I did 3 sets–1 set for each of my 3 grandchildren. The set I am working on is for a friend who surprised me with 2 wreaths. I have thread for 2 more sets. Since I am handicapped, this makes a great pastime.

I have always loved owls and made a thread and pin one for my Dad many, many years ago. As for my WIP’s….there’s many of those at any given time. Ones that I am working right now (not in hibernation) are a test Corset, called Hardware Heaven and just to make is the Thistle Field Scarf.
A few of my hibernating ones are shawls ~ 2 Cassandra’s and Remember Me, along with a CAL that will be starting in September called The Secret Garden ~ maybe this lovely owl pin would look great on this one 🙂

Love the owl shawl pin! Would go great with the lace shawl I have in progress and 2 oversized scarves. Thank you for the chance to win

I generally have a multiple of WIP going at once. Right now i am making two scarves each a different pattern, a shawl and an Amigurumi dragon (has a 3′ wing span) for my husbands birthday. When my fingers start to cramp from working with the smaller hooks i switch to working something in a larger hook.

  • Traci

Like most, I have a few WIPs 😉 I’m finishing up my first large shawl (and could definitely use an adorable shawl pin!), and I have 2 afghans going. One is a mystery afghan CAL, and I absolutely love the way it’s coming out. It’s fun to make something when you don’t know what it will look like in the end!

I am currently working on a chevron baby blanket for friends in Holland. The owl pin is so cute!

  • Maureen

My daughter in law loves owls too. I’m making her the owl basket. My current work in progress is crocheted pillows for the grandkids for Christmas. Each one has a different animal crocheted in the design. I have to make eleven of them.

  • Donna Allen

I always have yarn in my house. I make gifts for family & friends. Right now I am working on a baby blanket. I have made sweater, tablecloths, toys. I like to challenge myself with new patterns

  • Jill McGee

Having found some lovely yarn I’m doing your heart lace infinity scarf. I’m fairly new to crochet but I will succeed …… eventually. I may get side tracked by the broomstick lace shawl – now that is a stitch I have mastered and I enjoy doing it too so the owl would have somewhere to live :o)

  • Celeste

I’m in Canada, but I’ll answer anyways! I’m working a vintage pattern for a camisole. If you’d like to check it out, I’m on ravelry as shibi_huntress

  • Claudia Nieto

Correction to my other post. Correction to my email. I’m working on my first sweater. I am sure I’ve done some booboos, but I’m happy with the progress. Love the owl pin. Hoping to knit the owl sweater someday but will definitely need some guidance for that pattern. :).

  • Georgette M

Lovely owl pin. My daughter loves owls, and I have already got the yarn ready to make your broomstick shawl. Your tutorials are just the best. Thank you for the time you put into them. I have learned so much from you.

  • Dawn Woolf

The owl is adorable!! I am working on a loom knitted scarf for a gift and this owl would look great with it! (It’s a wide scarf) Thanks for the chance to win!!

  • Susie Holmberg

I too LOVE owls! I just found the sweetest shaw on Pinterest to make for my Mom which is where I got my love of owls from! Love ALL your post can’t wait for the next one! Thanks for all the patterns too…

  • Elle

That owl is just adorable! My current work in progress is a crocheted zippered pouch. About to start a crocheted pillow cover. 🙂

  • Laura

Your owl pin is adorable! I’m currently working on a baby blanket for my brand new (born 7-28-14) baby granddaughter…….she is a light in our lives. By the way, I love your videos and have learned quite a lot from you, Deja.

  • Christine

Love this pin! I have several projects on my hook, making a couple of Mario toys for my grandsons and your Owl 2 basket for my sister. (Just finished one for my daughter)

  • Amy in TX

That pin is absolutely adorable! I just added it to my Amazon wish list. I’m working on a long cardigan made of motifs, It’s the sweater of my dreams. Can’t wait to finish it!

  • Lori

I am working on “the butterfly prayer shawl” by NJ Sharon, its turning out beautiful, im using freia hand paints ombre.

  • Shirley

My current WIP is a newborn Penguin hat for my mid-winter arrival grandchild. I always have a small and large project going. Scarves are fun to make and give away. I’d love to give this cute owl a home!

  • Stacey Gambetti

Currently I’m working in a plaid throw, a dream catcher and a round doily afghan. Love the idea of a shawl pin.

  • Linda D

Love the pin! I have a friend who loves anything with owls! I made your owl basket for her as a gift! She now uses it for her yarn! I have two works in progress. A afghan for my son, it’s granny squares and I get bored whip stitching. The other is a set of table mats with a patriotic theme and I am stuck on the last one because working diagonally is new for me and I can’t quite get the hang of it! I must have pulled it apart fifty times already!

  • Ellen G

I have multiple works in progress. A headband, your amazing diamond lace infinity scarf, and at least 2 shawls! I try to always have 2 things going at a time in case I get bore with 1!
