YAY! I finally finished my purse! Was supposed to be with a CAL, but I was very late finishing, as I was having a hard time figuring out how to line it the way I wanted to. I was able to put an extra zip pocket in the middle of the purse (inside, of course). I used the rather stiff pellon to give the insert pocket extra body – and that, in turn helped give the whole purse body. Took time to figure out how to do it (all three pockets were fully lined, as well because I didn’t want any raw edges showing. Finally done – and i absolutely love it.
Christmas gifts are started and underway. Girl’s top almost done and other gifts lined up waiting for me.
Thanks for the opportunity! Hometown is lovely yarn – and I LOVE your basket! May have to make one of those as well.

I started “thinking” about Christmas projects in January. I have literally hundreds of patterns. I’ve made some snowflakes and a few characters, but I plan to really get going on Christmas very, very soon. My daughter and I are planning to make some felt ornaments too. BTW I love the basket made with that the Hometown USA.

Glad you asked if working on gifts….it kind of jolted me into action, so have finished one basket and close to finish on crochet top for granddaughter….with another older WIP next in line for finish – and for gift!
Thanks for opportunity – AND THE REMINDER!

I’m doing Elk Studio’s Christmas Gift CAL and have completed five gifts, so far. It’s actually more fun than shopping!
