I work on projects all year long. My daughter bought your owl basket pattern but she doesn’t crochet. So guess who made them? Me, of course. I made 2 for her and 4 for myself. I like your Trumpet Basket, also.

  • Jean

Yes, Just purchased your owl basket pattern yesterday. Going to make for my daughter-in-law. Looking forward to the end results!

I just finished taking some crochet classes at the Altered Stitch and now my first infinity scarf is almost completed….if all goes well, I plan on making more for my family and friends for the holidays!

  • Judy Saxby

I have not started anything yet. BUT I love the “Tulip Basket” and you guys gave me a great gift idea!

  • Mary N

I have yet to start…even though I know I need to. This also is a bit of a motivation to get started..I need a push sometimes, haha. Thanks for the opportunity!

  • Carol

I’ve barely started…one basket made (need to figure out how to block it!) and something else almost done. I may resurrect an older UFO and finish (finally!) as gift…
but MILES to go before I can see the light.
Winning this yarn would help – it would certainly go toward Christmas gifts – or the holiday donations I am planning to make/send.

I have not started on my Christmas gifts yet. Now I am stressed! Time to look at patterns and get a game plan.

I haven’t started any Christmas projects. I began learning to crochet in February 2015. Your videos have been my main resource. I have made Nitty Gritty Washcloth, Crunch Stitch Washcloth, Patriotic Coaster (used 1 color), and Mini Motif (Motif of the Month Sept. 2013). Next, I plan to make the other washcloths from your Free Pattern Workshops. Your videos are very clear and I like how the printed pattern is right there to go along with the video. I use them both when making a project. Thank you for all your work!

I have started a Angel Throw Blanket. The edges, using some popcorn stitching is where the Angels are.

No Christmas gifts started yet, but I am not worried about it I figure that if I can’t get it all done in a few months time once the weather has cooled down then I can find a hand made treasure out of my crocheted inventory for anyone that I might need a gift for anyways. ;D

I’ve picked out a pattern to make gifts, but have only completed one that turned into a birthday gift. I’m trying to not wait until the last minute like I did last year.

  • Candace

I am not sure if the projects I’ve started are going to be gifted to others for holiday parties or if my kids are going to hide them around the house! There’s such a long list of projects I want to work on just because I am in love with the patterns, but I don’t always have a particular recipient in mind when I start. I don’t actually celebrate holidays on a religious level, but our gift exchanges are quite a bit of fun and it’s hard to resist participating. Though I did get a LOT of requests for crocheted beards from last year’s party…I better get started on those! 😀

I’ve started designing a couple projects, but I have a few get-togethers planned for some of the ladies in my neighborhood to teach them how to make crocheted snowflakes and an LED light tree skirt. I’m so pumped for that!

  • carina

I have started working on Star Wars inspired character hats. The movie comes out in December so I am hoping I can make some money out of it.

  • connecticutjennifer

Not yet! After my current projects are complete I will begin holiday projects. I have a to-do list! 😀

  • Carol

Haven’t yet started working on Christmas projects – yet! I have been going through patterns, choosing what might be good for whom….
I have a couple of projects to finish and then plan to get working on Christmas gifts. i think I’m almost done with Birthdays, etc. for a while, so all that’s left is Christmas. And I’m looking forward to getting started on them.
By the way, Love the basket…and would really like to make it…thinking in would be nice for a gift – filled with really nice bath/beauty products…something they would not be expecting! :>)
Thanks for sharing your talent with us…very nice…always look forward to see what you’ve had on your hooks.

I began one crochet toy for my youngest grandson. I am still debating what other gifts to make for all five grandchildren: one girl and four boys. The oldest two are 12; then a 10, 6, and 18 mos old (by Christmas). Usually I make the same type of gift: scarves, hats, socks, mittens… Gotta think about it for another few weeks😏

  • Mary Monk

I am making slouchiy hats and scarves to match to sell at our church bazaar. Have used your floating triangle design on several.

  • Pam Janssen

Was planning on starting once my granddaughter from TX left but she saw a lot of pictures of things she thinks I should make her (she is 4), so I guess I will be working on that, unless, of course, I make these items and send them to her for Christmas….

  • Laura

Haven’t started on Christmas yet but have one October birthday present done and am going to make a Christmas home decor basket for a November birthday.

  • Sarah Wegner

Not really, although I know from past experiences of not finishing on time that I should have started months ago! But, I am always stashing my ideas away for when I do decide to start 🙂

  • Dawn

I’m still making dresses and trying out small stuffed animals for our fall crafts. The Grange has so many opportunities so making things is all year round for me. My holiday crafting wont start for a few months yet but i look forward to trying out new projects.

  • Karen ketchum

Yes I started making a scarf for my oldest daughter last night. I’m using some eggplant pallet yarn from knit picks and one of your scarf patterns!

  • Michelle

Holiday crafting…started…well…I did make a list…does that count? I hope so. Your basket would make a lovely gift. Listed expanded! LOL

  • valerie

I’ve made a few pair of socks. My daughter and I liked the results, so I bought more fingering weight yarn and started crocheting more for gifts.
