My favourite dessert is trifle. I make it with Lady Fingers smeared with jam with a little sherry added, real custard (Bird’s Eye and you can get it n Amazon), cherry jello, tinned fruit and real whipped cream on top.

Probably Chocolate Oatmeal Layer cake, at least for ease of making and serving. I have a recipe for cooked fudge frosting that can be put on the hot cake, so this is my fave to make for last minute company.

My favorite dessert is German Chocolate Cake! While not German at all, the rich coconut icing, and the light, but filling chocolate cake underneath, is a luxurious treat to anyone’s day. Simply the best, especially the homemade kind!

My favorite dessert is Nanaimo Bars. My dad was the head football coach at our high school. My mom would only make these when we had the other coaches over for a after football game party. They are rich, chocolate and yummy!

I would say fudge brownies with LOTS of nuts, inside as well as on the top. Also chocolate chili cookies or ice cream with chocolate chili sauce because I love the combination of sweet and spicy.

MMM! just thinking about luscious desserts makes my mouth water! I think my favorite (though it’s hard to decide) would be the Hummingbird Cake – frosted with just SLIGHTLY sweetened cream cheese icing flavored with some fresh orange zest. Don’t like “store bought” cream cheese icing, as it’s usually too sweet for me (and for hubby as well!). It’s a hard decision, though, ’cause I also love a real Tiramisu!

There is nothing better than fresh Southern Pecan Pie. It is better than any you all find in a restaurant even those that specialize in pies. Its not icky sweet & has pecans throughout not just on top. Thanks to my Grandmother for teaching me how to bake this pie.

Olive garden lemon cream cake is my favorite! I use a copycat recipe and also make it into cupcakes.

My favorite dessert is flour less chocolate torte. It’s incredibly rich and smooth. It’s naturally gluten free and I usually make it with duck eggs instead of chicken so my friend who has an egg allergy can eat it. I typically serve it with blackberry compote and some fresh whipped cream to cut out some of the sweetness of the torte.
