Win me, or me, or me, or me! Counter Ring Giveaway Bonanza!

The super awesome guys over at Critsuccess.com sent me these 4 rings to do what I want with, and I’m giving them all away!
I bought one of these rings a couple of months ago and got an extra to giveaway. The folks at Critsuccess saw and contacted me and asked if I wanted some more rings to review and giveaway. Of course I said, “YES!” What I didn’t expect was four rings being sent. They were so generous and now I’m sharing them with you.
I am so impressed with the design and function of these rings. You have to see my video review below to see the beautiful colors and how the ring actually works.
My ring is now my go to counter for every project I make. It is in my bag (or on my finger) at all times. I know that you will love yours too.
How The Giveaway Will Work
I’m going to be giving away the rings over the course of the next couple months. They will be given away one at a time.
The first winner (see below how to enter) will get their choice of any of the four colors seen pictured. The sizes for each color are:
Rainbow – size 9
Black – size 9
Blue – size 8
Gold – size 8
Each subsequent winner (new posts will be started for each giveaway, so be sure to subscribe to the blog if you haven’t already), will get their choice from the remaining rings.
How To Enter
Enter a comment in this post letting me know what your go to counter is at the moment. Do you use a locking clicker, a piece of paper or something else? Let me know and you may win a new and improved counter!*
*US residents over 18 only please. Entries accepted until May 15th, 2016 midnight Pacific time. Winner will be chosen and announced May 16th, 2016.
Can’t wait to see if you win one? You can buy your preferred color and size now at Critsuccess.com.

This is an awesome idea! I normally write notes on my pattern or on a scrap piece of paper. This ring is definitely going in my wish list.

Paper, or numbered stitch markers. Cool idea!

I’m still in the stone ages I guess.. I use a piece of paper & a pen. IIII and a slash thru that and go back and count by 5’s :O haha The Counter Ring looks amazing! Thanks for this opportunity! Best of luck everyone!!!

I would love ones of these rings would help so much with large projects

I think I must be a dinosaur- I didn’t even know these existed. I use the pattern and cross the rows off with a pencil, if there are not a lot of repeat rows. If there are a lot of repeat sections, I write the row numbers down on a piece of paper and then put a tick mark after each row completed- Really is hard to keep track if I make a mistake and have to rip a bunch of rows out.

I love the idea of a ring counter! I have a clicker counter, but I often have more that one project going , so I end up counting stitches & rows on a sticky note.
Michelle
I would love to win one of this counting rings! I currently use an abacus type bracelt. It isn’t that convenient.
Michelle
I would love to be able to try this counter ring. I currently use an abacus type bracelt that isn’t that convenient. This would be a wonderful easy way to keep track!

I am pretty new to crocheting but thanks to your left handed tutorials I was able to make my first project ever and then a second. I am really enjoying my new hobby. I just pause your video and do the counting in my head then restart your video and go from there, that must be why my beanies are a little off. ☺ I’m still proud of them. Those rings are nice, bet they are pretty handy. My grandmother has been crocheting since she was 8 she will be 89 next month. She makes blankets & caps weekly for cancer patients and she writes it down so this would be a treat for her. Thank you for the info on where to find them. I will definitely be looking into purchasing one of these rings for her.
Deborah
I have used an app on my phone, a kachakacha, and just pencil and paper. I would love to try one of these.

Locking clicker, and forever losing it!!

I think this counting ring would be a life saver for me. I have a twist table top counter but it does not lock into place and frequently messes up if I am careful. I love your site and give always. Thank you for what you do.

I’ve never seen anything like this before. I would like to say that I use my terrific memory to keep tabs on where I am in a pattern , but that has gone by the wayside. I often have to use paper and pencil, love the stickynotes!
ummizu
Still just using pencil to mark off on my pattern sheets. These rings look fun!

I use bobby pins and then count them to know where I am at. Silly I know. I need a new way to go about things.
Maria Torres
I would love to win one of these counting rings!!!! Currently my row counting method is marking off on the printed pattern; if not printed I use a sheet of paper for notes and write down the rows and then mark them off as I go
Pamela
I just write out all my rows and check them off. Looks like I’m not along!
Lexi Crneckiy
I use a Clover clicker or pen and paper. I’ve been looking at these rings for awhile now. Thanks for the review!
sunnygem
Well, it looks like I’m not the only one who uses a pen and paper for a counter! But that’s all I have right now. I admit it does slow me down a bit, but you gotta do something, right? Would love, love, love to have one of these! They are so pretty too!
vedalialife
Hi Deja! I just started following your blogs and I think it’s wonderful that you do these giveaways and such cool blogs and vids! I currently use pieces of yarn to count! I know it’s silly, but it’s what i do! I found you by way of crocheting vids that you do! What a cool way to count with these rings! Fantastic! 🙂
Karen Hickey
These rings are so cool!! I use a clicker right now.

This is so awesome. Right now I use an app on my phone that is a counter or I use hash marks on paper. This would be soooo much easier. I can wear either the 8 or the 9. Thank you so much for giving these away. May God bless you:)
Tamie
This would be great to have. Currently I use pen and paper.

Oh my,I would love to win a “cool counter” that I would use on my summer projects!!I use a safety pin ,marker and notepad…….can you say Prehistoric usage!
LisaLisa
These look awesome! Right now I use paper and pencil.

I use a couple of Apps on my phone but it’s not the most convenient thing since I always have to log in again and again so I don’t leave my screen on for a long time and use up all my battery. I do have a plastic row counter but don’t enjoy using that one. Also using paper and pen at times. Would love one of these rings. I would choose the blue one.
Dianne Bullach
I either check off on a COPY of the pattern or stick in a piece of yarn every 5 or 10 then count the yarn. I’ve never tried a counter but that makes so much sense.
Carol S Shull
I usually just keep counting the rows every time I forget, but since the last time I read your blog and saw the counter ring, I have been writing lines and slashes on a paper. But now I can see using pieces of ribbon at the end of every five rows. I have been learning so much from you and site. Thank you.
Rachel B
This is a great counter! Currently, I’m living in the dark ages and just trying to remember row/stitch counts. It works fine if I’m consistently crocheting, but putting a project down for a few days means recounting everything by hand.
Deborah Snyder
My go to counter is paper and a pencil. I would love to have one of the counter rings they are beautiful and I really need one.
Jenny
I saw you talking about this ring and thought how cool is that! I usually forget to write down my rows so have to keep going back and count again. This great gadget would sure come in handy. Thanks for sharing.
brennacrocheter
These are so cool! Right now I use paper lips to mark off every 20 or 50 stitches (depending on the length and how many clips I have). Super old school!
jen
how cool is that? currently I use clover clicker but i’m not crazy about it. thank you for the chance at a win.

I use a small notebook to keep tracks of my rows. I write the name of the every project and the date I start and finished the project. I started a lapghan and didn’t work on it for a couple of years and when I went back to the finish the lapghan I knew exactly what row of the repeat I did last by going back to my notebook, I finished the lapghan without any problem and donated it to my church.
Flo
This ring is fabulous!!! I use a clicker which seems to always disappear from my knitting bag. I love this ring…thanks so much for the chance to win!
Dorothy
These are gorgeous… I usually follow along with a ruler and make hashmarks on a piece of paper. Not the most effective way since I often forget. Having one right on my finger would be much more handy. Thanks for showing these to us…
Patrice Steiner
That looks so cool. And so easy to use — no searching for the counter. I use a Clover clicker, but I wish I’d bought the one you can slip around your neck so it’s always nearby!
Pam Doran
Interesting product. Thanks for bringing it to us. I use a notebook and pen, to count my rows and my stitches per row.
theresa herrera
as I babysit my 5 granddaughters… we live in las vegas Nevada, they always want to watch movies bare foot up on the couch with…so I use the their cute piggy toes. we make a game of it!
Deirdre Robinson
Great giveaway. I use paper and pencil.
Cynthia P Kanehailua
I currently use my paper n pen, my counter disappears no thanks to my cat who thinks it’s his play toy. My cat also when I’m not looking attacks my paper and sheds it. I would love this ring size 8, best and gorgeous looking invention ever.
Jessica Pipes
Hi. I use a small notebook to keep track of my rows. Love your videos!
Melissa
What lovely giveaway! I currently use a scrap of paper, so one of these rings would really come in handy.
Jade
Hello!
I went from keeping track of my rows just by counting them, then using pen and paper, now I use a row counter kind of like the rings only it can go on a crochet hook or the knitting needles. Though I lose it, or I forget to turn the dial because it’s covered up by my hand 😛
Anita
I use a piece of contrasting yarn to weave in between rows.
Nathalia
This is so awesome! I currently use Susan Bates counter “ring” that I found tucked away in the clearance rack of a local craft store. It works just fine (besides not having an off button), but it’s so big and bulky that I can’t wear it on my finger, I just keep it next to me whenever I’m crocheting.
Maemi
I love the colors! So generous of them <3 The ring counter would be of great help to me 🙂 I keep track of the pattern by printing it out on paper and marking off the row I'm at using a pencil.
Diane
My current counter is a piece of paper and a pen, sometimes with the rows pre-written, other times blank, waiting for my notation. All my other counters are tucked in projects. Waiting for me to regain interest. They are annoying because I have to pick them up to advance the number, hoping no little helpful hands have played with it while I was busy elsewhere.
Katherine Shine
I either use paper and a pencil or I use a regular counter I suppose it would be. I tend to misplace my counter and they roll away or my kids take then. These look cool and I am interested in trying. If am not a lucky winner I will probably buy one at some point.
Kim L.
I would love to have one of these, if I could spare the money I would just buy one. Right now I’m a paper & pencil counter.
Blessings & GOOD Luck to ALL
