The Piggyback Stitch
The newest Learn A Stitch Washcloth is an interesting and easy variation of the half double crochet stitch.
The piggyback stitch is aptly named because one half double piggybacks onto another to create this unique texture.
The video will walk you through the piggyback process while making a useful washcloth.

Is it weird to be a fangirl of someone who crochets? I just started trying to crochet in December and tried and abandoned several youtube channels before finally (Thanks be to God) finding yours. Your soft-spoken, clear and, most importantly, left handed directions have made me into a confident crochet-er (is that a word?). I gave washcloths to all of my friends as Christmas gifts and am now tackling granny squares (video from way-back). Thank you for giving of your time and your talents.
